Tuesday, March 18th, was the big day for Benjamin to meet Barret's kindergarten class. Barret has been talking of Benjamin's arrival so much that each of his classmates think they already know Benjamin. They have been eagerly awaiting Benjamin's visit.

We arrived at library time, and when the kindergarteners returned from library time, they stood in line to introduce themselves to Benjamin. It was then Benjamin's turn to present the gifts from Ms. Logan's class to Barret's class. Benjamin did a wonderful job and told them all about his class, Texas and his class's gifts.

Barret then took Benjamin around his classroom and showed him the different sections of his room and what they were learning.

After visiting the classroom, we played on the indoor playground and visited the library (which is AWESOME!), the nurse's office and the principal of the Lower School (elementary) of TAS. We had already visited the auditorium, the playgrounds and the outdoor track (during a track meet!).

Benjamin and Barret are having their picture taken in the library in front of a wall made to look like large books.
The Taipei American School is much larger than Hamilton Elementary. Unlike Hamilton, TAS has students from Kindergarten all the way through the 12th grade. Many of the activities of American families in Taipei revolve around TAS.
