To everyone in Ms. Logan's class:
By the time you read this, you will be doing announcements on Friday morning. Right now, it is Friday after lunch in Taipei and the middle of Thursday night for you. The weather today is very cold and damp. It even rained on us as we explored our part of Taipei. It is very cloudy here.
Our hotel and our friends' apartment is in a section of Taipei called Tien Mu. The buildings and shops have things written in the Chinese characters like we shared with you on Monday. Every now and then, there will be words written in English - but not many! We had donuts and chocolate milk (which doesn't taste like the chocolate milk we normally drink) from Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Our friends brought breakfast for us to our hotel. They also brought us umbrellas as we didn't have any.
After breakfast, we walked from our hotel to our friends' apartment complex, looking at all the shops along the way. Then, we went across the street and played in a big park. By that time, it was time for lunch. Our friends met us at the Chili's restaurant which is close to where they live. Now, we're resting up at our friends' home and waiting to go meet Barret at the bus.
The rest of our day will depend on how we are feeling. We plan to go to the American Club for play time and dinner if we can stay awake that long.

We are all wondering, when you will go to Barret's school? What other fun things will you do with Barret? Everyone is also wondering when will you be back? :)

Hi Abby, this is Ms. Janet. It sounds like you're having lots of fun with Mom, Dad, and Benjamin there in Taiwan. We can't wait to see some pictures of you on the blog. We sure do miss you in the Pony Class.
Today, Ms. Dee's daughter helped in our class because she wasn't feeling well enough to go to school. Everyone had lots of fun playing with her and she was a big help, too.
